Ramesh Shivakumaran Gulftainer is from commerce background, has a graduate degree in Commerce and is a Certified Chartered Accountant (FCA). He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), from USA and also holds the Associate Membership of the Information, Systems, Audit and Control Association (ISACA), based in the USA. Prior to coming on board to Gulftainer, Ramesh Shivakumaran was associated with Ernst & Young, based in Dubai, and Price Waterhouse in New Delhi, India.

During his two decade long tenure, Ramesh Shivakumaran Gulftainer has held many notable positions within the company such as Finance & Administration Manager, Financial Controller, and Assistant Financial Controller. After attaining considerable success at all positions he was elevated to the Senior Management. Other than his position at Gulftainer, he is a Director and Board Member at Gulf cum Port Management SA in the Comoros, and GTL – MTI Transport in Pakistan as well.

As part of the Senior Management, his present responsibilities include an active participation in all areas of company administration, more specifically the direction, planning and supervision of various aspects such as Finance, Accounts, Contracts, Claims, HR, Administration, IT and Special Project responsibilities. Needless to say that Ramesh Shivakumaran Gulftainer is an efficient administrator who has managed all aspects carefully with a balanced approach.
